Saltersgill Allotment Association

Welcome to the official web-site of the Saltersgill Allotment Association

For advice on the corona virus on allotments visit the National Allotment Society

The Association was formed in June 2014 to take over the day-to-day management of the Saltersgill site from Middlesbrough Council. Saltersgill is one of nine allotment sites owned by the Council and the first to become self-managed. To read more about the Association, please go to About.
We hope you enjoy visiting this site, where you will find essential information about the Association, its governance and official business, together with news updates, future events, photos and general interest stories. We would be happy to hear your views and suggestions of how the web-site can be developed and how the Saltersgill site can be improved.
If you are interested in taking a plot at Saltersgill please go to the Contact us page or email
Plots come in a range of different sizes with an increasing number of smaller, starter plots now becoming available. We have a site shop and can arrange a good discount on your seed orders.
